Cautions
- Google Places photos are a shot-list / placeholders only — never production assets (rights + expiring URLs).
- Photo triage (per
image-pipeline.md), revised 2026-08-13: all 10 dossier photos are
attribution-wise customer uploads (Antonio, Peter Maerki, Hanspeter Lutz, E.H.B Bayrak TC, Amir
Hossein, Hasan Culhaoglu, Bruno Matos, Özdemir BAUKERAMİK) — none carry the business name, so
strictly none are "owner photos". Re-reviewed content-by-content rather than attribution-only,
since several are architectural/signage shots with zero identifiable people:
- Used — photo 3 (storefront exterior, daytime, zero people, hero background); photo 9
(empty barber chairs, zero people); a tight crop of photo 4 isolating only the black
"PREISLISTE" board (top sign + price panel), which contains zero people — used to visually
back up the real prices in identity.md.
- Rejected on closer inspection — photo 4's full frame and photo 10 were both initially
judged safe from their small dossier thumbnails, then rejected after viewing them at the size
they'd actually ship: photo 4 clearly shows two staff/customers talking through the glass door
once enlarged to hero size; photo 10 shows several barbers actively working on identifiable
customers in a wide shop-floor shot. **Lesson: judge photo safety at the display size it will
actually ship at, not at dossier-thumbnail size** — a person who reads as an anonymous blur in
a 200px thumbnail can be clearly identifiable once used as a 1600px hero or enlarged gallery
image. Neither is used anywhere in the shipped site, not even as a small thumbnail.
- Rejected outright (photos 1, 2, 5, 6, 7, 8): show identifiable customers/staff at the
chair, a hair-coloring close-up, or an unconfirmed portrait not clearly shot at this premises.
- All used photos remain draft-only placeholders (rights are not ours, Google CDN URLs are
not stable long-term) — production needs the owner's own photos (TODO.md T5). Downloaded
copies live in brand/inspiration/ and site/src/assets/gallery/ for this draft; swap for
licensed assets before any real go-live.
- Gallery still keeps 2 hue-derived placeholder tiles (fades/cuts, beard grooming) for the two
service categories with no safe photo — no Places photo shows barbering work without a
customer's face in frame.
- Ratings/review counts are a snapshot; don't hardcode into copy.
- No category-specific regulatory cautions apply (barbershop, not a regulated profession).
- Payment methods: a 2022 review claims cash-only; too old/single-sourced to publish as fact — do not state a payment policy on the site (see build/decisions.md).
- Services & prices are not published anywhere; draft copy uses a clearly marked placeholder menu — never invent specific standing prices.
- Lead build: business has not been contacted. See build/decisions.md for every default chosen in place of an operator answer.
